Kbar# 29 The ZODIAC

I have always wondered what the Zodiac dressed like and I finally have a faint idea. I know that he wore a homemade execution hood. Underneath that he wore a black shirt or jacket with his symbol on it. It appears that he wore dark clothing so that he would not be seen at night. This is a pretty freaky. It's scary enough that this guys a murder he doesn't half to dress like a Hollywood murderer though. Just seeing him approaching could send someone into shock. I can't even imagine what it was like for his victims.

Kbar# 27 Last movie

When Heath Ledger died, I heard that he commit suicide before The Dark Knight was finished filming. Apparently that is far from the truth. Heath actually had one more movie filmed and released and then he died. After his death  a lot of people made made a home made shrine outside his house. Along with that, his family and friends threw a party celebrating his life on the beach. Even after that, many actors and celebrities accepted multiple awards on his behalf. I think that it's amazing how much people recognized him after his death. It is sad that he didn't get to receive his awards himself.

Kbar #26 Not a suicide?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Up until now I always thought that Heath Ledger killed himself. Apparently Heath was on 7 different medications that proved to be a lethal mix. It actually got me thinking about how easy it is for any of us to die at any time. If you didn't know about the reaction between two drugs, you could die. You would think that people would be trying to prevent the mix of drugs. With multiple celebrities dying from drug mixtures, it seems logical to stop drug mixtures.  I wonder why people are so illogical.

Kbar# 25 Heath's Childhood

I had absolutely no idea how much Heath Ledger and I had common in our childhoods. Both Heath and I have had parents who split up and married someone else at a young age. I was blown away by finding this out. Heath was also in a lot of theater at a very young age. I actually was surprised that an amazing actor like him would have such a rough childhood. What I also found crazy is that both Heath and I feel the same way about having two houses. We both felt like it was great because we could get tired of one house and then go to the other house.

Human Agency

There is a lot of things in life that we can't control and I feel like that has a decent roll in shaping us. When we can't control things we learn how to be patient and how to deal with our problems however when we can control the things that do happen to us, we learn how to take care of ourselves. One example of being able to control things is your bedtime. If you control it then you learn how much sleep you need and when you should go to sleep. And when you can't control things like when Christmas is, you learn that you need to be patient. Both things shape you in different ways and it could be different for other people. It is important to get both views.

AVID Field Trip Reflection

On the AVID trip to Stanford and Santa Cruz, we explored and learned a lot. Some of the sites we saw included Hoover Tower, the Stanford stadium, and the Stanford pool. We chose to see the Hoover tower because it looked historic and important, however we were not able to go in because of the fee. We also chose to see the Stanford stadium because we had a lot of people who wanted to see it and it seems like a large and important part of Stanford and its campus because it houses the sports teams of Stanford. Finally, we walked past the pool so we decided to check it out. The pool is important because that is where the swimmers train and compete.

Out of both colleges there were a lot of things that I thought were really cool. There were also a lot of things that I was surprised about. One thing that I thought was really cool and I was surprised about was the yoga area. I thought it was really nice that Santa Cruz put a yoga area in for the students to relax. Santa Cruz actually has a few things I would like to see in a collage but the main thing is that its close to the beach. I did learn that collages aren't just different because of classes but the setting and campus has a different atmosphere. And even though we didn't do a ton on the campus, I did have fun hanging out with my friends.
